She doesn't know it but he's a famous Wrestler and he's about to rock her world. sitting in Economy aboard a plane that will hopefully whisk her away from overbearing religious parents and an unwanted marriage, shy timid Anna locks eyes with a stunning, sexy, drool-worthy man as he prepares to sit in First Class. Right from the start this listen captured my imagination while Xavier captured my heart…. The bottom line: If you want the roller coaster relationship, the amazing chemistry and a book that will reel you in from start to finish, then THIS IS IT! Ana sweets will have un in aww. This is not an MMA book, think more like WWE.
His narration always takes me where i need to go without fail. He has a smooth voice, though not the best female voice but close enough. I have loved Sean Crisden's narration from prior books and knew he would be great as always.
She is one I will have no hesitation listening to in other books. She did not sound like she had a cold or breathing as she narrated. She maintained a clear tone of voice, distinct voices for each character and good voice fluctuation. The author pulls you in from the start to finish and of course at the end you want to know what now? I have never listened to a book narrated by Alexandria but She was amazing. This is a hot, sexy, funny, sweet & sour moment type book. There are funny moments, there are heart pumping moments and sad moments. X is also very broken.We get a taste of just how broken in this book, almost as though this is the least of X's demons and more is yet to come! When fate puts Ana and X together, the journey that they take in a few weeks left me craving more. While this is what we come to know about her, I have a feeling there is still more and maybe Ana might be just as damaged as X in a different sort of way! X is an entertainment wrester, with a body, attitude and manor to match.
Ana is a sweet, innocent & sheltered 21 yr old who has had enough of the confines of the world she knows. The Author did a fantastic job with transitioning from Ana to X.
As the listener, we get to see things from Ana's view and X's view. Hmmmm.Where to start.I guess if you haven't already guessed it, based on other reviews let me spell this out THIS BOOK WILL LEAVE YOU HANGING! Now, normally this wouldn't be a big deal, except Book 2 is not due to be released until later this year (yep, i checked the author's website!) The first thing I loved about this book is it's a 2-sided story.
